Located just minutes from the State Capitol Building, Capital City Country Club is nestled in the large oaks and pines of the Myers Park Historic District. The 6,502 yardage moves through the trees and across large elevation changes more commonly found outside of Florida. Bermuda grass fairways with Tift Dwarf Bermuda putting surfaces create challenges for golfers of all ability levels. The par 72 layout was designed in 1920 and was recently renovated in the early 1990's. Nine holes of the original design was done by famed golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast who designed such American classics as Winged Foot and Medinah.

The clubhouse is located at one of the highest points on the property and overlooks the practice area and putting green. The Golf Shop is fully staffed and directed by PGA Professional and Director of Golf Dale Brown who has been at the club for over 17 years. There are two PGA Professionals on hand that offer group and individual lessons and can make appointments that meet your demanding schedule.
